Officers from the Voorhees Township
Police Department visit the children in each of our elementary
school each year for a bicycle safety assembly. We stress the
importance of keeping your bike in good working condition, obeying
traffic laws and street signs. We also remind the children to be
alert for cars, trucks, and motorcycles in the street. We speak
about basic bike safety rules that can be reinforced at home. Below
is a brief list to review with your children for ways to be safe
while riding their bicycles and having fun. For additional safety
lessons, please visit
