Home Security Survey

We will conduct a comprehensive security survey of your home and point out weaknesses that could be used by a thief to steal your property. We can recommend ways you can better secure these weak areas.

Operation ID

We have engraving tools that we can loan you to permanently mark your property which serves as a deterrent to theft. This also aids in the recovery of your property should it be stolen. We will show you how to mark your property in a way that will identify it as yours should it be recovered by another law enforcement agency. We will supply you with enough "Operation ID stickers" to let the burglar know that before he/she enters your home your property is marked. Forms to record and inventory all your valuables will be provided to you when you pick up one of the engravers.   

Vacation Property Check

The Voorhees Police will physically check the exterior of your home while you are away.  Simply call (856) 428-5400 and speak with the Voorhees Police Dispatcher before you leave.  The Dispatcher will ask you specific questions.  All information is confidential.  Be sure to also leave a key with a trusted neighbor, friend, or relative in the event of an emergency.  Call when you return to cancel the property check.  Click here for the form.

Crime Watch

We can help you and your neighbors organize a Crime Watch program to make your neighborhood a safer place to live.  This program forms a partnership between residents and the police to help prevent burglaries and other crimes in your area.

Club or Business Meetings

We have speakers available to come to your meeting and speak on numerous crime prevention topics that will provide suggestions to prevent burglary, theft, vandalism, robbery,

shoplifting, plus many more. The presentations often include films, brochures and demonstrations.
