A Child Identification
System
Provided by the
Voorhees Township Police Department
Crime
Prevention Unit
Its critical for parents to be able to
provide accurate and detailed information to police if their child
is missing. Parents should keep a KIDZ
ID
Card with them at all times. If
your child gets lost in the mall or while on vacation, you can
immediately give the police your ID card to speed recovery. ID Cards
should be carried by parents, guardians, caregivers, grandparents,
babysitters and daycare providers. The
Voorhees Police does not keep any personal information on file. Once
the cards are issued, all information will be deleted. No
fingerprints are taken of your child.
Cards are not issued on site. Look for
the spring and fall community events held at Lions Lake, to get a
new card ! |

Scheduled Events:
Voorhees Township Picnic (Lions Lake) /
June 1, 2008
Voorhees Township Fall Festival (Lions
Lake) / October 19, 2008

Attention Parents: Due to
an overwhelming response on the ID cards, forms for the Child
Identification card will only be accepted at the events listed
above. The Kidz ID application form will only be accepted at
the event and the child's photograph will be taken at the time the
form is submitted. The identification card will then be mailed
to you shortly thereafter. Parents can be prepared in advance
by filling out the application form at home.
