Voorhees Police Halt Large Scale Marijuana Dealer

  • On March 31, 2014, Voorhees Police arrested Bader Kareen Khan, (Male 19 yoa,100 block of Simsbury Drive, Voorhees,NJ) after a long term criminal narcotics investigation revealed Mr. Khan was part of a large scale controlled dangerous substance (CDS) distribution scheme, which involved large quantities of marijuana. Mr. Khan was criminally charged with Distributing Marijuana, a crime of the third degree and Possession of Marijuana a crime of the fourth degree. Both charges can carry a fine up to $25,000 as well incarceration.  On September 23, 2014, Mr. Khan’s case went in front of the Camden County Grand Jury, where the grand jury determined there was sufficient evidence to proceed with prosecution.

    The primary investigating agency for this case is the Voorhees Township Police Department with the assistance of the Camden County Prosecutors Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

    All persons charged with criminal offenses are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
