Lieutenant Anthony Del Palazzo

Captain Anthony Del Palazzo commands both the Patrol and Investigations Bureaus, overseeing sworn and uniformed personnel and detectives while coordinating key operational and administrative functions. His responsibilities include serving as the CDT County Coordinator and managing the Field Training Officer Program, recruitment and hiring for sworn positions, and all vehicle procurement and maintenance processes. He supports agency readiness as Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator and leads professional development initiatives such as the MLETA Coordinator and Background Investigation Coordinator. His role also includes conducting staff inspections, serving as the department’s secondary Policy and Accreditation Manager, and supporting communications and transparency as the secondary Public Information Officer. Additionally, he assists with oversight of the body-worn camera program, conducts supplemental Internal Affairs investigations, manages the Early Warning System, and serves as liaison to the Special Response Team (SRT).
