Lieutenant Anthony Russo oversees the Criminal Investigations Bureau. His responsibilities include supervising functions within the Criminal Investigations Unit, the VICE Unit, and the Crime Scene and Evidence Unit, while also serving as the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) Liaison to the County Prosecutor’s Office and the department’s designated Bias Incident Officer. He supports victim-focused initiatives through the Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT) and contributes to personnel development as an assistant within the Training Unit and through conducting background investigations. He also oversees Municipal Humane Law Enforcement Officers and supports accountability and integrity functions within Professional Standards/Internal Affairs. Additionally, he serves as the department’s liaison to the Special Response Team (SRT) and the CRG/GXP analytical platforms. He is also the 1033 Equipment Program Coordinator. Lieutenant Russo is a SWAT Operator/Team Leader on the Lower Camden County Regional Special Response Team.
