Lieutenant Russo is the Patrol Bureau Commander within the Operations Division. He is directly responsible for the daily operation and coordination of resources within the Patrol Bureau. He is the Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Terminal Agency Coordinator. He is the coordinator for the NJ 1033 Program Law Enforcement Support Office which permits the transfer of excess Department of Defense supplies and equipment to law enforcement agencies. His duties also include supervising the Canine Unit, Bicycle Patrol Unit, Field Training Officer Unit, Vehicle Fleet Maintenance, and equipment Inventory Supervisor. He is also the Transitional Duty, Military Leave Liaison for the department and is a SWAT Operator/Squad Leader on the Lower Camden County Regional Special Response Team.
