Lieutenant Foster is responsible for leading the department’s Community Affairs Bureau, which encompasses the Traffic Unit, Juvenile Unit, School Security Unit, School Resource Officer Program, courtroom security, crossing guards, recruitment, community relations, community events, social media, drug and alcohol alliance liaison, Project Safe Cam, Adopt a Cop, Law Enforcement Against Drugs (LEAD), and the Law Enforcement Clubs at the Voorhees Middle School and Eastern Regional High School. Lieutenant Foster is also responsible for monthly reports to the Mayor and Committee, federal and state grant management, and programs such as the Junior Police Academy and the Citizens Police Academy.
