Chief Bordi and the Voorhees Police Department would like to congratulate School Resource Officer Jon Daddario who has been selected by L.E.A.D. as instructor of the month. This recognition is based on a national search. Law Enforcement Against Drugs (L.E.A.D.) is a non profit (501C3) organization, supported by dedicated police officers, committed to protecting our youth and communities from the proliferation of drugs, drug related crimes, peer to peer/cyber bullying and violence. We achieve our goals by collaborating with educators, community leaders, families and L.E.A.D. support organizations. To create safer, healthier communities free of drugs, bullying, and violence.
Officer Jon Daddario grew up in Voorhees, New Jersey and graduated from Eastern Regional High School in 2009. Jon attended Widener University and graduated in 2013 with a degree in Criminal Justice. He was sworn in as a Voorhees Township Police Officer in May of 2014. After two years of working patrol he was assigned to the Community Affairs Bureau as a School Resource Officer.
Officer Daddario is currently assigned to the Voorhees Middle School. He teaches the L.E.A.D. program to 6th graders along with School Resource Officers Chase Waldman, Mark Paranto, and Patrick Billingsley.
